Changes to JASMIN cron, transfer and NX services
Please note the following JASMIN announcements for your attention:
Changes to cron (and all transfers using xfer3) Changes to NoMachine NX service (nx-login servers) 1. Changes to cron and transfer services The old servers enabling task scheduling with cron, namely cron.jasmin.ac.uk (aka cron1.ceda.ac.uk) and xfer3.jasmin.ac.uk, are due to be retired, as replacements are already available as part of our migration to the Rocky Linux 9 operating system.

At this event we will celebrate the past 30 years of innovation, growth, and collaboration at CEDA, showcase the depth and breadth of the work currently we do, and gather your feedback and ideas to shape the next 30 years.

Reminder of upcoming JASMIN changes and maintenance periods

Please note the following JASMIN announcements for your attention:
New services now available: please start using them! JASMIN maintenance: electrical testing, 8-10 October (all systems at risk) JASMIN Scheduled maintenance day, Tuesday 15 October (all systems at risk) 1. New services now available General JASMIN Help Documentation has now been updated to reflect the new Rocky 9 servers, so users are now asked to start using these (login, sci, xfer, hpxfer, etc) wherever possible. Please update your local configuration if you have stored the names of older servers. Older servers will start to be withdrawn over the next weeks, but will be announced in advance.

Graduate Environmental Data Scientist Graduate Research Computing Service Support / Software Engineer Both roles are full-time open-ended contracts with a starting salary of £33,380 plus a £1,000 welcome bonus! You are required to submit a CV and cover letter which clearly outlines how you fulfil the criteria specified along with your motivation for UKRI and the role.
