Each node has 6TB of physical memory and 192 CPU cores. This is considered a special resource and access is controlled via the access role additional services : lotus-special on the JASMIN accounts portal. A new partition called special is able to submit jobs to the new set of nodes, with access controlled by holding the above access role. This is an update on the Archive data incident that occurred on 18th November 2025 - see previous updates here. We are making good progress with recovering data back into the Archive and have made significant progress. Over 1.6 Petabytes of data have been recovered to a holding area - 1.3 Petabytes of this has now been moved to its correct location in the Archive. Most of this should now be available to users - we are doing some final checks for data permissions. ...
