JASMIN Notebook Service Environment Updates
Dear JASMIN Users,
We are making some changes to the software environments provided by the JASMIN notebook service, in order to make it more compatible with the environment on the rest of JASMIN. The environments provided on the notebook service will now be identical to that provided on the sci machines and LOTUS.

Data Incident Christmas Update
This is an update on the Archive data incident that occurred on 18th November 2025 - see previous updates here.
We are making good progress with recovering data back into the Archive and have made significant progress. Over 1.6 Petabytes of data have been recovered to a holding area - 1.3 Petabytes of this has now been moved to its correct location in the Archive. Most of this should now be available to users - we are doing some final checks for data permissions.
