A beginners guide to using JASMIN.

This webinar focussed on how new users can ‘get started’ on JASMIN, a globally unique data intensive supercomputer for environmental science.

Covering the following topics:

  1. What can JASMIN be used for
  2. Setting up your JASMIN account 
  3. Connecting to JASMIN
  4. Group Workspaces (GWS)
  5. Transferring files

Anyone with an interest in using JASMIN should watch this video for a brief overview, whether you are a PhD student, Undergraduate or Professor.

Outcomes:

  • Understand what JASMIN is
  • Learn how to get access to JASMIN
  • Learn how to transfer files to/from JASMIN
