Data Centre Queries

There is a dedicated support team for data centre related queries. This team will assist with any queries related to data access, data availability and user accounts. Where possible the team will also be able to field some questions regarding the data itself, but may need to refere to the authors of the data to answer specific questions relating to production, quality or underlying science. 

Before contacting the helpdesk please ensure that you have checked our 10 FAQ (e.g. password, acknowledgements, etc) which answers the most common user queries.

Please do not send any attachments larger than 3Mb, without first contacting the Helpdesk. If you need to send a larger file then please deposit it in your Requests folder where it can be accessed by CEDA helpdesk staff.

If you contact the helpdesk, your query will then be directed to the appropriate person. We store and review all queries received to help us improve our service. To keep track of you query we use specialist software which, amongst other things, will provide you with a complete history of all messages related to your query. Please read the CEDA-AS BADC Query system for details of how the system works and an explanation of the format of the reply you will receive from CEDA.
