Between 24 and 26 July 2018, testing of power distribution units will be taking place in the machine room used for hosting the JASMIN infrastructure which hosts many JASMIN and CEDA services.

The Centre for Environmental Data Analysis (CEDA) needs to keep users and stakeholders informed of the latest developments, but also evidence the impact of its services (i.e. the CEDA archive, JASMIN) to its funders. To help do this we have created a new role within the CEDA team; meet our Communications Manager, Poppy Townsend. Poppy is now responsible for our external communications to users, such as social media and website content, as well as working out how best to measure our impact.

Following system wide kernel updates this morning the software stack underpinning the CEDA Data Catalogue search had been upgraded with unresolved impact on the catalogue service.

All JASMIN hosts including LOTUS are now back up and running after todays updates. Please note that the units for specifying job resources on LOTUS has now been changed from KB to MB: please take account of this when submitting jobs to LOTUS. Further details of this change will follow in due course.
